Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules for using the MatchHub mobile app. They are terms for services provided electronically under the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means. By creating an account, you accept these terms.

1. Who provides the service

2. Definitions

• App – the MatchHub mobile app for iOS and Android.
• User – a person who has created an account in the App.
• Points – virtual units used in the game to predict matches. They have no monetary value.
• Prediction – a forecast of a match result placed in the App using Points.
• Premium – a paid subscription (MatchHub Pro) that unlocks extra features.
• AI Analysis – an automatically generated match analysis.

3. What MatchHub is

MatchHub is a free social game for football fans. You predict the results of real matches using virtual Points, compete on leaderboards and talk football with other players.

MatchHub is not a bookmaker or a gambling game within the meaning of the Polish Gambling Act:

• we don’t accept any money stakes,
• Points can’t be bought with money,
• Points can’t be cashed out or exchanged for money, physical prizes or any other financial benefit.

4. Technical requirements

To use the App, you need:

• a smartphone with an up-to-date iOS or Android system that can install apps from the App Store or Google Play,
• an internet connection,
• an active email address or a Google or Apple account.

5. Your account

1. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. Your email address must be verified.
3. Each person may have one account. You may not share your account or take over someone else’s.
4. Your username must not be misleading, impersonate anyone else, or break the law or common decency.
5. Keep your password safe. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and let us know.
6. The agreement runs for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by deleting your account in the App (Profile → Settings → Manage account → Delete Account) or by emailing support@matchhub.pl.

6. The game and Points

1. You earn Points in the App, for example when you start, for correct Predictions, for daily login streaks and for achievements. The App explains how Points are awarded.
2. You can place Predictions until the match kicks off. We settle a Prediction after the match ends, based on the official result.
3. Odds shown in the App are used only to calculate how many Points you can win.
4. If a match is cancelled, postponed or abandoned, we may void Predictions and return the Points staked.
5. In the event of an obvious error (e.g. wrong odds, a wrong result or a technical fault), we may correct your Points balance or how a Prediction was settled.
6. Points can’t be transferred to another account and expire when your account is deleted.

7. Leaderboards, seasons and achievements

1. Leaderboards run in seasons. Your position and rank depend on how your Predictions turn out.
2. When a season ends, we may reset the seasonal leaderboard, while the season’s history may remain visible in the App.
3. Your leaderboard position, rank, level and achievements are visible to other players.
4. We may remove accounts that break these terms (e.g. multiple accounts or exploiting bugs) from leaderboards.

8. User content and community rules

1. You are responsible for the content you post: comments, replies, your username and profile photo.
2. You may not post content that is:
   • offensive, hateful, discriminatory, vulgar or harassing,
   • unlawful or infringes other people’s rights (e.g. copyright, image rights, personal rights),
   • spam, advertising or self-promotion,
   • encouraging gambling or containing links to bookmakers,
   • off-topic.
3. You can report any content in the App. We review reports without undue delay.
4. We may remove content that breaks these terms and, for serious or repeated violations, restrict or block an account. We’ll let you know about a block in the App. You can appeal by emailing support@matchhub.pl.
5. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it and show it to other players in the App for as long as it’s published. After you delete your account, your comments may remain visible as “Deleted account”, without your username or photo.

9. AI Analysis

1. AI Analysis is generated automatically by an artificial intelligence model based on available match data.
2. AI Analysis is for information and entertainment only. It is not advice, a guarantee of any result, or an encouragement to bet with bookmakers.
3. AI Analysis may contain errors or out-of-date information. We don’t guarantee that its conclusions will prove correct.

10. Premium

1. Premium is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. You can see the current features, price and billing period in the App before you buy.
2. Payments are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
3. You cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
4. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.
5. You may also get Premium free for a limited time, for example for referring a friend. This Premium expires automatically.
6. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the store first.

11. Intellectual property

1. The App, its design, logo and the content we create are protected by law. You may not copy or distribute them beyond normal use of the App without our permission.
2. MatchHub is not affiliated with any league, federation or club. Competition and team names are used only to identify matches.

12. Liability

1. We do our best to keep the App running smoothly and without errors, but there may be technical breaks, for example during updates.
2. Match data, results and statistics come from third-party providers and may be delayed or contain errors.
3. We are not responsible for decisions you make outside the App, including bets with bookmakers, based on information from the App.
4. Nothing in this section limits our liability to consumers where the law doesn’t allow it.

13. Complaints

1. You can submit a complaint by email to support@matchhub.pl.
2. Describe the problem and include your username. We’ll reply within 14 days.
3. Complaints about Premium payments are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules.

14. Withdrawal

1. As a consumer, you can withdraw from the agreement for the free version of the App at any time by deleting your account.
2. Your right to withdraw from a Premium purchase is governed by the rules of the App Store or Google Play, where you buy the subscription.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons, such as changes in the law, new features or improved security. We’ll tell you about changes in the App at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don’t accept the changes, you can delete your account.

16. Final provisions

1. These terms are governed by Polish law. This doesn’t deprive consumers of the protection given by the law of the country where they normally live.
2. Consumers can use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example help from a local consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or mediation by the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) in Poland, or a consumer body in their own country.
3. Disputes with consumers are settled by the courts with jurisdiction under general rules.
4. How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
